About Our Cacao

The Cacao Portal and it’s ecosystem:

Our Ceremonial grade Cacao is interconnected with the livelihood of many sentient beings.

We source from Complejo Nacional Cacao trees that grow in symbiosis with:

Cacao Guardians and their families: Cacao provides income and generational heritage.

Flora: Cacao grows in association to banana plants, citrus trees and other tropical fruits.

Fauna: The tropical mountain ranges where our Cacao grows are inhabited by squirrels, a variety of native birds, insects, sloths, snakes, and more.

Soil: Ceremonial-grade cacao grows in the biodynamic soils of jungle mountain ranges where wind, water, and fire are in equilibrium with the Earth.

Founders: We are a BIPOC small business who are in service to Cacao as our cultural heritage.

And now You, seeker of Cacao.

We strive to build transparency and accountability in our production chain so that our community can grow authentically. We are inspired by the spiral of Cacao evolution, a time in which cacao is recognized as a plant medicine, capable of nourishing the mind, body and spirit.

For this reason, we share this video with you so that you can be a witness to the beauty that surrounds our Cacao plants and the ecosystem that sustains it.

While there is still much to do to guarantee the subsistence of Heirloom Cacao strains, we can proudly say that we are committed to growing and evolving with our Cacao guardians and families.

Thank you for being a part of our Cacao journey!
